Latif International LTD, a market leader in fine arts, antiques and rare textile is looking for a Purchasing Director to predict, determine, and advise on future market requirements and trends, to identify the sources of new products Advising and sourcing rare and antique objects including Islamic objects, supervise the clients design and production of products related to the carpets and rugs (Modern and Oriental Design particular Persian handmade) to ensure for quality or new incoming goods are in accordance with projects, quality and designs are proceeding with the order and completed. To negotiate prices, draw up a contract under company lawyer’s advice, buy and source handmade and machine made rugs and carpets, to attend trade exhibition and factories, maintain good relationship with the buyers as well as suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for new products. To arrange regularly the quality checks and new incoming goods to make sure the ordered goods will be delivered to the clients on time.
Interview and supervise the buyers and suppliers, to organize the trade exhibition and identifies new products.

To liaise with clients as well as overseas collectors, trade fairs and museums in order share the information about each contractual requirement.

Your Role:

Your Skills:
– 2 years sales experience in the fine arts industry both wholesale and retail (b2b &b2c)
